Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey. I’ve lived in 13 states and 3 other countries. 

Q: When did you start writing music?
A: I began to create my own compositions on the piano around the age of 12.

Q: When did you start playing the guitar?
A: I bought a used classical guitar when I was 21 but it took me a few years to start playing it.

Q: What was the first song you learned on the guitar?
A: The first song was Anticipation by Carly Simon.

Q: Who are some of your (musical) influences?
A: Some of my favorites include Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, James Taylor, Tracy Chapman, Stevie Wonder, Patty Griffin and Jeff Buckley.
